Contrary to my older post about content platform such as youtube being flooded with gazillion of videos, I recently decided to start am considering starting a Youtube channel. (Hey, I'm going to be a Youtuber!). These are the things that made me consider this path:
- Documenting ANYTHING has its value. It helps you to learn better and remember what you already have spent time on 📝
- I have already been documenting many things, but only for my own private use and in various formats. 🔐 When I was a musician, I documented my journey through albums, taking notes on music theories and practice routines. Currently, I write journals and notes every day, either to process the information or to save it for future reference. However, these documents are only formatted for my personal consumption.
- I am increasingly realizing that effective communication is the key to success in any field. 💎 I used to avoid it because I found it difficult, but now I understand that those who excel in communication are the ones who intentionally work on improving their interpersonal and communication skills. In this era of AI, the ability to connect with others becomes even more crucial. If you work in isolation, relying solely on your skills, you are likely to be replaced by machines and algorithms. I must build a bridge between my work and the real people who will invest their time and resources into it. 🌉
If this is an inevitable path that I must take, it would be better for me to start as early as possible. The best way to improve at something is by doing it more, rather than just thinking about it. I am going to gather more insights into running a YouTube channel and creating content and figure out the necessary steps to be taken.
